Pokemon Cloud White Download Mac: A Guide to the Best ROM Hacks

So I downloaded the rom, patch file, installed RAR and a file patching app, and myboy free. I cannot patch the file because it is zipped, but i cannot unzip it as there is an error. Used 2 different patching apps and 2 different patches (cloud white and red chapters). I have unzipped the gba file FireRed but not the patch file. Any help would be appreciated as I do not know how any of this works. Thanks
