The Berenstain Bears Homework Hassle Book

This book is about Brother Bear, a bear who doesn't do his homework. All he does is watch T.V. Soon his parents find a letter about how badly he has been doing in school. They want to find out why he hasn't been doing his homework. He tells them that he always has too much homework to do. Papa Bear, his Dad, asks him what homework he has for the day, but instead of doing it, he is watching T.V. and talking on the cell phone. Will he get grounded? How will the problem be solved?

This book is like fables. Both teach you a lesson. The lesson is to do your homework when you're suppose to. Otherwise, you'll have so much homework to do all at once. Then you wouldn't have time to do the things that you really like.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has trouble with homework. It will show you why it's important to do your homework on time. I would also recommend the other Berenstain Bears books because you can learn a lot of good lessons from them. A good reader in the second grade or older could read any of these book on his/her own.

A good book to share with your son is How To Do Homework Without Throwing Up by Trevor Romain and Elizabeth Verdick. The book is aimed at students in grades three through six, and includes tips on setting up a homework schedule, how to get help with homework, etc. Another book is The Berenstain Bears and the Homework Hassle. You may want to read How to Help Your Child With Homework by Marguerite Radencich and Pamela Espeland. This book offers tips for halting homework battles with your child.
