X-Plane 11.1.0 now requires an Internet connection to download and run the installer, and it will not install on a hard disk without a hard disk drive. The installer is tested and known to work on Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7 and Vista. You can also use X-Plane on Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2008.
System requirements
Minimum system requirements for X-Plane 11.0.0 are:
A 64-bit Intel-compatible processor
4 GB or more of system memory (RAM)
15 GB free hard disk space
Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is typically included with most Windows systems
Operating system: Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista
X-Plane 11.0.0 and previous releases do not require 32-bit applications to run.

Installer instructions
Download the latest X-Plane installer below.
Unzip the newly downloaded installer and run it.
Insert the first X-Plane DVD into your DVD-ROM drive and wait.
